The BioDIMENSIONAL® System

The BioDIMENSIONAL® System for breast reconstruction consists of anatomically shaped tissue expanders and three matching styles of McGhan® shaped breast implants. The shapes of the tissue expander and implants help your plastic surgeon recreate the shape of your desired breast. In addition to being shaped, the tissue expander and implants in this system have a textured surface. This surface helps keep the tissue overlying the expander softer during the expansion process. The textured surface also helps keep the tissue expander and in some cases, the breast implant in place.
